BC Region AANDC Gets into the Spirit of Giving with the GCWCC
The six week Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada GCWCC Vancouver campaign kicked off in October with a bake sale of tempting treats. Another highlight was the Loonie-Toonie Challenge with a goal: see if your team can make the longest line of coins on the table in 10 minutes. This year, the defending champs from Treaties and Aboriginal Government edged out the teams from BC Region and Indian and Residential Schools. The event raised $1274.61 for the GCWCC, helping to move BC closer to its 2011 GCWCC financial goal. Good times for a good cause!
